TUF Gaming Z790-plus Wifi posting issues

Hi,

I'm upgrading my PC, got a new MB (in the subject) , with an i7-13700kf, 32GB Team Force RAM 6000, Msi 1000 PSU, 2TB 850x nvme ssd. That within my old Storm Trooper case, kept my Gigabyte 3070, an older SSD Samsung 840 pro and all the fans, and HDDs (not connected yet).

The problem is after booting first time (cold) if wanting to restart, it doesn't go past POST. I managed to install Win11, however now in the EZ utility screen, it shows both drives in Raid, but in the Boot sequence, it's empty. I tried to change the Raid to Ahci, but the option to switch from RAID TO AHCI doesn't show up under the PCH config in the the advanced menu

Tried switching RAM stick positions, removing the Bios battery, updated the BIOS to the latest version, removed all other connections (USB headers, audio, etc.) nothing helped.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

Hello @SFJ6724

Thank you for reaching out to us.
Could you let us know which M.2 slot your current system drive is installed in?
The issue of being able to cold boot but being unable to restart may be related to the SSD.
We recommend checking if the SSD is properly installed, cross-testing other M.2 slots or system drives, and ensuring that the SSD drivers and firmware are updated to the latest version.
If needed, please try clearing CMOS and setting Launch CSM to Enabled, then check again. For further details, kindly refer to [Motherboard] Troubleshooting - Cannot find the hard disk drive or SSD (M.2) after motherboard powe...
It is also possible that the issue is related to improper hardware connections, so kindly refer to the user manual to ensure that all hardware components are installed correctly. This includes verifying that the CPU pins are not bent, the CPU is neither too loosely nor too tightly installed, and the power cables are securely and properly connected.

Thank you.
