There are numerous posts on the internet about Meta Quest 3 not connecting via USB-C link cable on ASUS Motherboards. I have this issue also. My Quest 3 only charges through the cable, no data connection. I do not get a USB popup notification when I plug it in (like I do when I connect my Samsung phone). No troubleshooting searches have helped me resolve the issue.
I'm connected through the only USB-C port on the back panel of the TUF GAMING X570-PRO motherboard (USB 3.2 Gen 2). I have updated all the ASUS AMD drivers and have the latest BIOS Version 5013 (16.87 MB

I'm stuck. Please advise. Thank you.

Hi @COMCAM
Is the Q3 visible in Device Manager when connected? Might seem like a simple request, but check that Airlink is not activated within the headset.
This might seem rather simple, but please

No Sir. The Q3 is not visible in device manager. I've connected it numerous times with Air Link off. I even tried it with the Q3 WiFi off as well.
Is there a USB Port setting I need to select in the BIOS or Control Panel?
Are there optical and non-optical USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C ports? The Quest Link Cable says it is Optical. I don't know if it matters.
I appreciate any assistance you can provide!
