B650-E WIFI, 95GB RAM, 4xSSD, 1xDVD, Linux (KUbuntu)
I need to have 6 SATA ports for my configuration and have been trying to add an M.2 SATA board (2 ports) to meet this need.
The M.2 board does NOT show up in the BIOS screens, but the ports on the board do show up in Linux. However, nothing attached to those 2 ports shows up anywhere.
I have scoured the UM several times and come up with zip. Anyone advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Hello @graygeek
Thank you for reaching out to us.
Due to the local holidays, our response time may be slightly delayed. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding.
Could you kindly let us know which M.2 slot your M.2 SATA expansion card is currently installed in, and have you tried cross-testing it with other M.2 slots?
Additionally, if the SATA SSD installed on the M.2 SATA expansion card is directly connected to the motherboard, is it recognized correctly?
Apart from ensuring that your BIOS, firmware, and related drivers are up-to-date, we recommend, to avoid potential hardware compatibility issues, considering the use of onboard ports for connection.
Thank you.
