I upgraded from AM4 to the AM5 setup described above and, without a clean install, experienced a crash (blue screen) every 35 minutes or so, whether on the desktop or in a game.
I ruled out all driver and software issues and then performed a clean install!
Same problem!
BIOS is up to date.
I seem to have solved the problem!
I didn't change anything and left the RAM clock speed at 4800 (JEDEC)!
It's unstable at that speed!
It's currently running stably at 5600 (EXPO)!
Just wanted to document this – maybe it will save someone hours of work.
