Okay System Spec
AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 6 core Processor 3701 Mhz 6 Core
Bios - American Megatrends inc 3405
Motherboard ASUTeK B550-F Gaming
Product ROG STRIX B550-F-GAMING
All Bios upgrades are done and UEFI is installed
File Format is GPT
When trying to upgrade to Window 11, It will not allow me to do so as it says TPM is not installed in windows
msinfo 32 produces this error
Device Encryption Support Reasons for failed automatic device encryption: TPM is not usable, PCR7 binding is not supported, Un-allowed DMA-capable bus/device(s) detected, TPM is not usable
TPM.msc says it cannot find TPM
Its is definitely enabled - I have had 3 computer engineers collegaues look at it and all of them are mystified.
Can anyone shed some light on this

32 GB of RAM as well and PC healthchecker says the only reasons for the failure to upgrade is is the TPM 2.0.I have seen on Reddit that this is a known issue and Microsoft havent or wont fix it there end.

Microsoft are denying any responsibility and say its an issue that ASUS needs to fix incidentally.

Hello WazHarrison1973
For AMD motherboards:
In the bios, Advanced tab, AMD fTPM Configuration - Select Firmware TPM.
Hit F10 and Enter to save and exit, TPM should be enabled on the reboot.

Hello @WazHarrison1973
Apologies for joining the discussion mid-thread.
Based on the BIOS main page information you provided, we noticed that your current BIOS version is 3405. However, according to the ROG STRIX B550-F GAMING support page, the latest BIOS version is 3611. We recommend evaluating whether updating to the latest version may help and then checking the settings under Advanced\AMD fTPM Configuration again.
Additionally, in the Advanced\Trusted Computing menu, please scroll further down beyond the section captured in your screenshot to verify the TPM 2.0 UEFI Spec Version. Could you kindly provide this information? Furthermore, would using the Clear TPM or Reset TPM options in the same menu to reinitialize TPM settings make any difference?
Regarding the error messages you mentioned, you may find relevant guidance in the following documentation:
[Motherboard] Which ASUS model supports Windows 11 and how to setup TPM 2.0 in BIOS?
Enable TPM 2.0 on your PC
How to fix Un-allowed DMA capable bus/device(s) detected?
Windows Server shows PCR7 configuration as "Binding not possible"
We recommend reviewing these instructions and adjusting the system settings accordingly.
Thank you.
