I'm having an issue that's reportedly caused by the iGPU on my Ryzen 7700X CPU conflicting with my Nvidia RTX 3080 GPU, and is preventing me from launching a program I need to launch. The recommended, and so-far only known solution is to disable the iGPU. But I can't do that because, from what I can tell, there's no option to do that in the Asus BIOS.
I've followed the instructions people gave for the BIOS for their AM5 Asus motherboards, but the settings options aren't the same in my BIOS. I've checked the BIOS settings both before and updating my X670E-A BIOS to the latest version available on Asus' website, and the option appears to just not be there. I've looked at, and read the description for every single setting in the BIOS, and none of them seem to apply.
The two paths in the BIOS people seem to recommend are these:
1. Advanced -> Advanced tab -> NB Configuration -> Set primary device PCIE Video -> disable integrated graphics
This doesn't apply to the X670E-A BIOS, which doesn't have the NB Configuration option.
2. Advanced -> Advanced tab -> AMD CBS -> NBIO Common Options -> GFX Configuration -> GFX Configuration -> Integrated Graphics Controller -> set to disabled
This pathway exists in the X670E-A BIOS up to the point of the GFX Configuration menu. In that menu, there's no Integrated Graphics Controller sub-menu, or anything labelled similarly. There are only two options at the end of that pathway, and the only thing that can be disabled is a cache.
So, the X670E-A BIOS appears to not have an option to disable the iGPU. But I need to disable the iGPU. So, I hope Asus will update the X670E-A BIOS quickly with an option to disable the iGPU, just as it seems other Asus AM5 motherboard BIOSes have.

I tried that, but it found nothing. No results for "graphics". I also tried searching for Integrated, GPU, GFX, and found nothing relating to disabling the iGPU.

Other option is, use device manager: Open Device manager, right-click iGPU, click disable. Not ideal but should work.

I'll see if I can unlock that option for you, but the BIOS editing app I use when I checked like four months ago you wouldn't work. I'll get the latest version and try again though. I'm home from work in about 11 hours.

I can't promise this will work, try on a FAT32 MBR USB made with RUFUS and flash with USB Flashback if your board has it. The editing app makes it unsigned so remains to be seen if it'll actually flash. It won't brick your board though, it'll either flash or just not flash. Have a backup USB with the original stock BIOS for USB Flashback just in case.

You can also try to have someone manually mod the BIOS for you on Winraid forums as well. Just tell them it needs to keep the original checksum and remain signed is all.

Sorry for the slow reply.
Thanks for that. I can't try it out just yet as my system suddenly stopped posting with multiple BIOSes. I'll likely give that a try if I get it posting again.
Even with this fix, it's important that ASUS add the feature to their X670E-A BIOSes, because there will be BIOS updates for years to come, if AMD supports AM5 until 2027+, like they've said they've committed to.

I'm having issues trying to connect a Pimax 8KX VR headset via display port. I keep getting the message to "disable onboard graphics. I cant find the option in bios like the others. I did disable it in device manager but the message continues. Is removing it from your system an option? Can it be re installed? R9 7900x3d/ Tuf X670e plus wifi.
I was looking through the bios again and found it under "Advanced setting/NB configuration.
Thanks for reading. Sorry about the pic.
