I have a Asus ROG Strix B-450 E gaming motherboard and suddenly I am facing a problem in which whenever I try to boot my PC an error message "USB DEVICE OVER CURRENT STATUS DETECTED !! SYSTEM WILL SHUT DOWN IN 15 SECONDS". So, I can not boot my PC I tried so many times but the same thing is showing. It first occurred in Feb this year, I contacted my country's asus support on the phone and they told me to service the motherboard. Before that, I checked by removing all the USB cables ( a keyboard, a mouse and a speaker), but nothing helped, I disconnected the front USB but no result. Then finally I gave it to the service centre and spent a hefty amount on it. After receiving my MB I thought that all was good now but about 30 days later same problem occurred again.
I noticed one thing whenever I am using my PC a notification pops up saying "Power surge on USB port", if I restart or shut down and then start my PC I am stuck at the boot again with the same problem. I am attaching images of the problem, my MB and the latest BIOS version that is installed.
My PC Specs- Asus ROG Strix B450-E, AMD Ryzen % 3600x, gtx 1650s, 2 nvme SSD, 1 1TB HDD, 550W PSU, Corsair cabinet, CORSAIR iCUE H100i ELITE aio, 4 corsair case fans. 2*8gb ram.
Any solution regarding this would be appreciated...

Hello, @Pritam_Roy
May I ask how long this issue occurred after building the PC and what USB devices are currently connected?
According to your description, the problem resumed around 30 days after receiving your motherboard.
Could you please DM me your motherboard serial number, service number, and previous RMA number?
Since this information is personal, we advise against sharing it in public comments.
Thank you.

Bought the motherboard in 2020 and problem first occurred on Feb 2024 this year.
I contacted the asus helpline and they just saying to submit the motherboard again in service centre which is ridiculous because it's just been 30 days that I received it from service centre.

Hello, @Pritam_Roy
Regarding the repair details, as discussed in our private message, we would need your personal information and RMA number to proceed with the repair history.
The "USB DEVICE OVER CURRENT STATUS DETECTED" issue can be caused by faulty USB devices, including USB hubs, or insufficient or faulty power supply from the PSU.
We recommend cross-testing with another PSU (preferably with a higher wattage) or testing in an isolated environment with only the CPU, GPU, RAM, and PSU installed on the MB to rule out hardware issues.
Thank you.

Hello, @Pritam_Roy
Thank you for providing the hardware specifications.
May I ask if you have attempted cross-testing the PSU as previously suggested?
We are also still awaiting detailed information on the prior repair details.
If possible, please update us through private messaging.
Thank you.

No, I could not do the cross-testing the PSU as I do not have an extra PSU nor does someone have one I know, The PSU is under warranty so I am thinking of replacing it.
And I shared the repair details through DM please check

Hello, @Pritam_Roy
Thank you for providing the relevant information.
Could you please confirm if the service center you sent for repair was an ASUS official service center?
We recommend contacting the service center where the repair was conducted to confirm the previous repair details.
Concerning the "USB DEVICE OVER CURRENT STATUS DETECTED" issue, it appears this problem reoccurred approximately one month after the repair.
Kindly inspecting the hardware components you are using, such as USB external devices, PSUs, and connected sockets, or checking for any power outages or surges in your location.
Thank you.
