I purchased a 9800X3D and Strix X870E-E Gaming MB and it shipped with the initial bios '0223'. My RAM was working fine, but when I updated by BIOS to '0706' my MB would boot to QCode 15 (memory). I rolled back to version '0606' of the bios, but that also boots into QCode 15.
I don't want to go back to '0223', does anyone have any ideas?

Hello @Whaler209
Thank you for reaching out to us.
The parameters and settings may vary depending on the BIOS version.
Could you please confirm the part number of your current memory module and whether it is listed in the ROG STRIX X670E-E GAMING WIFI Memory QVL? For reference, you may consult [Motherboard] How to query (CPU/memory) QVL List?
If installing a single RAM module in the DIMM_A2 slot and clearing CMOS, are you able to boot into BIOS or the system using BIOS version 0706?
Additionally, according to [Motherboard] Common Q-CODE(Error CODE) and Troubleshooting, Q-code 15 indicates that there may be an issue with the CPU or memory during the boot process.
We kindly recommend checking whether the CPU socket has any bent pins or if the CPU installation is either too loose or too tight.
Thank you.

Hello.
Same situation here. MB updated to latest Bios and it won't boot with two G.Skill Trident Z5 48MB Model F5-6400J3239F48GX2-TZ5RS despite it is stated as compatible. I am getting 00 code with solid yellow led. MB will booth with one module though. Any solution?

May be CPU mounting pressure. Reseat the CPU and cooler while ensuring consistent mounting pressure as per the vendor's instructions.

I'm also having the same issue, I updated the motherboard through armoury crate and my ram is no longer visible anywhere. It's also ignoring the motherboard settings and armoury crates standby power options, since my power button is back to blinking on sleep mode.
Ram speeds are working correctly from task manager. But Icue no longer recognizes it.

Hi @Whaler209
Just to add, Q-Code 15 is a training code. Depending on the memory configuration, this may take as long as 3 to 5 minutes initially. Ensure you've left the system for ample time to complete the process.
