Running latest bios
I have 8x10TB IronWolf Nas drives trying to set RAID10 for WIndows 10. Now i'm guessing this Bios/RaidExpert Raid is actually Raid 0+1 not 1+0 which suits me fine
I can get it to work but each time about a day after setting up the Raid fails and no way to remove the drives through BIOS or RaidExpert. Basically it's indicating "it's failed" (gee ya think?) no specific error. Only option in the software is to create which can't cause the drives are in the raid array. The drives test fine and 4 of them i've been using for years with no issues in a raid 0 configuration the other 4 are brand new
Ofcourse i can reset the drives through windows using any partition software or turning off raid in bios.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated
or if others have alternatives that are software based for creating a Raid 10 or Raid01.
I've tried OWC SoftRaid which works fine for Raid0,1 or 5 but Raid 10 is not supported in the WIndows version apparently despite the Premium update indicating differently.
