Crosshair X870E Hero, before I did anything I wanted to update the bios on the box. 24 pin plugged in psu, usb programmed. Turn on psu, insert usb, push Bios Flash for 3/5/10 seconds nothing. Tried several psu’s nothing. Decided to go ahead and try to box test the motherboard without update. Installed cpu, ram, NVMe.2, ram , cpu cooler, dual 8 pin, 24 pin and 8 pin pcie. Still no power at ALL. Tested psu good, tried a different good psu 1200 platinum Thor.. Nothing, cleared CMOS nada.. what’s going on any ideas?

Hello @Jrose40

Thank you for reaching out to us. When the system fails to boot, do you notice any Q-LED indicators or Q-code displays
If you reduce the setup to the minimum configuration, installing only the CPU (using integrated graphics for video output), CPU cooler, a single RAM module in the DIMM_A2 slot, and the PSU, does the system still fail to boot?
If following the steps in [Motherboard] Troubleshooting - No Power/No Boot/No Display and confirming all hardware is installed correctly per the ROG CROSSHAIR X870E HERO user manual does not resolve the issue, please consider contacting your reseller for after-sales support promptly, as this is a recent purchase.

Thank you.
