Hey.
I just built a new system and when I use any of the three XMP profiles pc won't boot. When I try to use them in DIMMS in slots A2 and B2 the boot sequence stops with ERROR 55 but for XMP I need A2-B2 slot. The system boots when I use the AUTO setting and they are slot A1-B1 but the memory is reported to run at only 6400 speed. All other BIOS settings are default I am running the latest (as of this moment) BIOS

But I tried with 2 other brand Viper and Crosair also supported by mb. Still same issue. Also everything was fine. Problem started with new BIOS update. And even if I put it back the old BIOS still not working again. I try to clear CMOS too. Any idea? UPDATE: Sigle stick work with XPM but only in B2 slot. Same ram faild in A2 or if I try to use them together.

Hello @Wolfage
Thank you for reaching out to us.
May I ask which BIOS version correctly supports XMP setting before updating to the latest BIOS version 1101?
For BIOS 1101, does the following description match your scenario?
- All three memory modules can only enable XMP when installed individually in the B2 slot; installing them in A2 and B2 or just in A2 and enabling XMP would fail to boot up.
- Regardless of slot or memory configuration, when clearing CMOS without any settings, the system boots up correctly into the OS.
To accurately replicate your situation, could you please help us confirm the following information?
- the part numbers of the other two memory modules tested
- an image of the BIOS main page and the three XMP settings you have tested
- the brand and model of GPU/SSD/HDD/PSU
- a complete video recording of the issue, with steps such as: Starting the recording > clearing CMOS and booting into the OS > restarting and entering BIOS > confirm the BIOS main page > enabling XMP and failing to boot up > Q-LED and Q-code displayed on the motherboard > clearing CMOS again and issue resolved.
Thank you.

Hey. Don't let me send video here. So I reply by email.

DIMM detection issues are predominately due to CPU pin-pad contact. Remount the CPU, inspect the CPU pin-pad and socket for debris or damage.
Remount the CPU cooler whilst ensuring for consistent mounting pressure.

Today finally I had some time. So I remove the CPU everything looks good. And As I said after BIOS update I lost A2-B2 so nothing to do with CPU.

I have a similar problem as follows:
2 * Corsair CMP64GX5M2X6600C32 DIMMS (on approved list) in slots A2 & B2 work fine in standard and XPM modes
If I add another two identical DIMMS in the other two slots, the system works fine in standard mode, but will not work in XPM at all, failing the boot with a Q Code of 62. I have tried all the latest BIOS, including 1401 but the problem persists. Any ideas?
