ROG Strix Z890 E-Gaming not working with 4 memory sticks

MOBO: ROG Strix Z890 E-Gaming

CPU: Intel Core Ultra 265KF

Memory: GSkill M5 DDR5 6400 16GB x 4

Graphics: ASUS PRIME GeForce RTX 4070 Super 12GB

Cooling Solution: ASUS ROG STRIX LC III 360 LCD

This is a new build, but couldn’t boot the system as I got the Post Error Code 62.

I realized there was a problem with the additional memory sticks and removed them.

The system boots with no issues, so I updated the drivers, BIOS, and ME after installing the OS.

Tried with 4 memory sticks again, and the issue persists. Post Code 62

Hello @edison24

Thank you for reaching out to us.
Could you confirm whether the Q-LED indicator was solid when the system failed to boot?
Additionally, could you clarify what you mean by "additional memory sticks"? Are you referring to memory modules from different kits?
Upon reviewing the ROG STRIX Z890-E GAMING WIFI QVL, we did not find any G.Skill 16GB ×4 6400MHz memory listed. We recommend cross-testing with memory modules included in the QVL.

Please also refer to the purchasing and installation guide on the same page and avoid mixing DIMMs from different memory kits—even if they are from the same brand and model. You can also find relevant information in the Memory Kits - Overclocking and What You May Not Know thread.

Thank you.
