RoG Strix Z790F GPU Compatibility

Hi there 

I've just bought the Z790F Gaming WiFi and an MSI RTX 5080 Vanguard SOC. 

For the life of me I cannot get the GPU to seat in the board in the any of the lanes it seems to me all the heatsinks / thermal shrouds for M2 slots are stopping the card going all the way in. 

I'm just wondering if anyone else has had problems of this nature or if I'm missing something? 

I've ordered a vertical mount to get round the problem but am just niggled that I can't fit it the OG way.

Could you confirm if the issue you described occurs when the device is installed in the PCIEX16(G5) slot?
We recommend installing the device directly into the slot rather than using an adapter, as this may help prevent potential compatibility or performance issues.
