ROG STRIX Z790E GAMING WIFI II RGB not working

##ROG STRIX Z790-E GAMING WIFI I

Recently, I noticed that the lighting on my motherboard stopped working, however, the motherboard is still listed in Armory Create. After that, I thought the issue might be with the BIOS or Windows. I updated the BIOS and reinstalled Windows, but this still didn't solve my problem. Maybe someone has encountered this before... I would also like to note that the equipment is less than a month old, and everything was working as it should initially.

Hello 0leh299

Could possibly be windows dynamic lighting, you could try setting it like this. If it's already on, try turning it off.

Are you able to sync your Addressable LED Strip?

Does any of the Aura Effects work?

yes, I disabled the strip by mistake, everything works and the aura effect also works, only the backlight on the motherboard itself does not work, now I will try to update Windows to version 11 and try to put what is on the screenshot. I just don't understand why it used to work and now it stopped

no, not working(((

In the bios, Advanced tab, Onboard Devices Configuration. Under the LED lighting, "When system is in working state", check this is set to All On.

If it's set to All On, try resetting the bios to default settings with the F5 key.

all set to All On. and nothing has changed, is this backlight built-in or is there any connection to it from the power supply? maybe something with a contact somewhere, etc.? it used to work, then it stopped, and then when I rearranged the computer, it started working again, now it hasn't worked again for about 2 weeks

Hello @Oleh299
Could you kindly clarify under what circumstances the abnormal behavior of the motherboard's LED lighting occurred, such as after a Windows update, a hardware change, or replacing the chassis?
During the cold boot process, do the RGB lights on the motherboard illuminate and then turn off only after entering the system?
Additionally, could you check the LED EC Version displayed on the BIOS main page to ensure it is showing the correct version?

Thank you.

Due to the local holidays, my responses may be slightly delayed.
For any urgent cases, we recommend reaching out to your local service center for further assistance. Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding.

There is no physical connection for the motherboard RGB lighting. It's sounding like there could be an issue with the lighting, in which case, I'll suggest to contact an official ASUS Support Center for your region.
