As the Title Suggests.
I just had purchased this motherboard a couple of months ago and someones saying that I have to replace the thing already.
The thing has been Thermal Throttling for months and I just figured out what exactly was wrong with it. It's throwing the BD_Prochot code. BD meaning Bi-Directional and Prochot meaning processor hot. This code is only supposed to throw when the processor is reaching temps that are hotter than the sun. And this has been happening since I booted my computer the first time.
I don't think theres a way to turn it off either as Throttlestop has it greyed out. And I Can't clear the code because I think its baked into the bios and I'm pretty sure there's not a bios setting that will allow me to change that. I can try setting my BIOS to default settings. But I've seen people try to get rid of it that way and it still persists.
Is there anything that I can do before I have to resort to an RMA Via warranty or if They will even give me a replacement for the board as an RMA. Someone please help.

Hi @Spyrofan97
Would it not make more sense to establish why the CPU is reaching a thermal junction rather than RMA? There's likely nothing wrong with the CPU itself.
Have you attempted to reseat the CPU cooler at any point since this started happening?

It Is definitely not reaching above 40 degrees. In fact all this time it remains under 24-28 Degrees.
I could try to re-Seat the cooler. However I'm unsure if that would fix this issue. It has to deal with the motherboard itself not the CPU. CPU should be running at least 40 Degrees while gaming and the system is throttling it to 800mhz Which is below clock speeds. Which explains why I can barely get any work done And Gaming is an absolute nightmare.

Are you able to run Cinebench R23 with HWINFO sensor monitor panel open? Provide a screen grab so we can see what exactly is going on.

This is The screen capture while Running Cinebench- None of the other cores are working and its Stuck at 0.77 GHz It will not boost and does not go up and down Apparently its supposed to go up to base clock speeds while running games. Its also barely making a dent in thermals. It stayed 28 degrees through the entire cinebench And its also not going above 9% utilization I'm at my wits end, I've done honestly everything That I could think of. And nothing works. And I don't much trust the Youtube Guides as all of them that are for this problem is regarding laptop computers and this is a custom Desktop with liquid cooling.

I can't see Cinebench and the CPU is apparently at 9% utilisation, so not sure what this is meant to show.

Do I need to make like a YouTube video or something?

Here's another screenshot with the results from the previous benchmark.

The idea is to show temperature, package power, and clock speed to see if and why the CPU is reaching a thermal junction.

It's a dead board. 100%
While I was waiting on a response I sat down with two professionals (Who have over 30 years experience with computer systems) I've tried practically all I could.
Cpu is 75 degrees from tj max and I'm not running cinebench again because I'm afraid it will actually break something because my cpu is limited.
It's a motherboard level BD_PROCHOT sensor failure or something as the board itself is only feeding the cpu 0.745v it has an 8x multiplier instead of a x45 multiplier like the cpu should be running with.
