Hello, everyone.
I have a problem after updating bios to 1703 on my ROG STRIX Z790-F GAMING WIFI II.
PC wont boot or enter Bios after setting Erp to S4+S5.
I have to clear CMOS so I can enter Bios and boot.
I didn't have any problems with default bios 0507 earlier.
Does anyone else had similar problem?
Thank you!

Hello @ŠimeGof
Thank you for the update. It’s also possible that your hardware configuration is better supported in the latest BIOS version.
Regardless, I’m glad you were able to pinpoint the issue. If you experience any further difficulties or have additional concerns, please don’t hesitate to DM me anytime.

Also, before this mbo , I had installed WIFI I.
After installing latest bios with Intel microcode, mbo went dead; no post, no led, nothing.
Returned and took this one WIFI II, again updating bios with Intel microcode made problems.
DON'T UPDATE BIOS! IT'S EXTREMELY BUGGY!

Hello @ŠimeGof
Thank you for reaching out to us.
Regarding the issue you described, where the system fails to POST or enter the BIOS after setting ErP Ready to [Enabled (S4+S5)], could you please confirm if any Q-LED indicators light up at that time? Does the same issue occur when ErP Ready is set to [Enabled (S5)]?
Additionally, certain system settings may conflict with the ErP Ready configuration and prevent the system from powering on.
We recommend verifying whether Fast Startup is disabled, ensuring that the power plan and USB ports are not set to overly energy-saving modes, and disabling any unnecessary sleep or hibernation settings. It may also help to remove any connected USB hubs or external devices.
Thank you.

Hi. Thank you for the advice. I was in a hurry to make sure everything works, so I installed last bios without Intel microcode that I've found on support page (0801, 12/08/2023). With this bios all works as it should. I really think this microcode is buggy. I don't know who is to blame for it; Asus or Intel. Something went wrong with the implemantation. It's not a coincidence that I have problem with two consacutive mbo-s.
