Hello,
After I updated to the latest BIOS 1501 & ME version 16.1.30.2264 on my ROG STRIX Z790-F GAMING. I have an Internet Speed Problem. I'm only getting download speeds of less than 1.5Gb, Before I was getting the full 2.5Gb download speeds .
My Link speed is showing 2500 (Mbps)
Here is my System Info
Currently I'm using the Intel I225 / I226 LAN Driver V2.1.3.3 For Windows 11 64-bit
I also tried the 2.1.3.15 and the problem still remains
I know the Problem is not comming from my 10GB Fiber Modem, Switch, Cat 8 Cable, or Speedtest Server. Because I tested a few times on my ROG STRIX Z490-E Gaming Streaming PC, using exactly same exit port, cable, server, etc. And I'm getting the Full 2.5Gb Speeds
I also tested with different settings like disabling all the 6/Offload Settings, and chaging Speed & Duplex to 2.5Gbps (Full Duplex) instead of Auto Negotiation. But the problem still remains.
Before I didn't had this problem, and I was getting the full speeds of 2.5Gb. The only thing I literally did, was updating to the latest BIOS & ME Version.
Sadly you can't revert to older ME Versions, so hopefully this gets fixed pretty soon in the Next BIOS & ME update. If you know if there is a way to fix this now, I would appreciate it.
Thanks

Hello,
You can close this Thread now, I did a New Clean Windows 11 Installation, installed every single driver, and even while having the latest BIOS and ME the issue is gone. I had no clue what was the problem, because I barely tweak my PC for the same reason, all I did was updating the Bios. Anyways all good now.

Hello, @Ragashi
May I ask if you cleared the CMOS after completing the BIOS update?
Could you please try installing the Intel I226 LAN NDIS driver V1.1.4.38 for Windows 10 64-bit and Windows 11 64-bit from the ROG STRIX Z790-F GAMING WIFI official website and confirm if this improves the network speed?
Thank you.

Hello, @Jiaszzz_ROG
I cleared the CMOS, tried the Intel I226 LAN NDIS driver V1.1.4.38
But unfortunately there was no improvement. Btw I also notice some jittering and lag while gaming FPS games online.
I also tested again on my ROG STRIX Z490-E Gaming Streaming PC to Confirm that the Problem is not comming from my 10GB Fiber Modem, Switch, Cat 8 Cable, or Speedtest Server etc.
Btw what is the driver that I'm supposed to be using? Because the V1.1.4.38, is marked as outdated in Armoury Crate, and I saw that Latest on the Intel Website is the 2.1.3.15. Anyways the problem still remains no matter which of this 3 driver I use. But I want to know.
