Rog Strix Z790-E WiFi II Extreme Audio Latency

I have a brand new Rog Strix Z790-E Gaming WiFi II w/I9-14900K.  Since setting everything up and installing all of the drivers, I have been experiencing extreme audio latency in Windows.  Several seconds after a Windows event, the chime audio will play for the event.  While gaming, the audio continues to degrade and that degradation persists into Windows audio after exiting the game.

I've tried setting the MSI which seemed to have helped for just a few minutes before latency increased again.

I'm at my wits end, I've tried everything I know and googled repeatedly only to wind up with no functioning solution.

I discovered that downgrading to the 2022 driver version that shipped with Windows resolves the altency.

New PC, fresh Windows 11 install, drivers installed from Asus support page.
MB: Rog Strix Z790-E Gaming WiFi II
CPU: Intel I9-14900K
GPU: Tuf Gaming RTX4080
Memory: Corsair Dominator 5600
Bios versions: 0220 & 0506
Windows drive: 2Tb Samsung 990 Pro NVMe m.2 in slot m.2_3
Case: Cooler Master HAF 700 Evo 
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master MasterLiquid 360 Atmos

Monitors (x2): LG 27" 4K HDR

Symptoms: Cause an audio queue from windows, wait two to three seconds to hear the actual audio queue.

Please note: This is all moot for me now, due to the issues caused by the onboard audio, I have purchased and installed a SoundBlasterX AE-5 Plus card and disabled the onboard audio in bios.  This is the first time in over 20 years that I've purchased a discrete sound card and every system I've built since the 90s has had an Asus motherboard.

What Asus needs to do: Cleanup Armoury Crate so that it's actually usable and doesn't install a ton of useless harmful crap-ware and either update the available drivers (realtek doesn't offer them directly) or ditch the crappy USB audio on next gen motherboards, the previous audio was vastly superior.
