ROG Strix Z790-E Gaming Wifi II USB problems

Buying and using Asus products all my life i’m disappointed in my latest 12/12/23 motherboard; ROG Strix Z790-E gaming wifi II. After a couple minutes gaming my keyboard doesn’t pick up any input. Its lagging sometimes for 10-60seconds. Newest bios on default, new USB firmware, changing ports, new windows installation and testing other keyboards/input devices, nothing seems to work. Latest problem, a port stopped completly from functioning. I need help, pls inform me what to do?

Based on your description, even after cross-testing different keyboards, USB ports, and performing BIOS and driver updates, the keyboard still exhibits a delay of 10 to 60 seconds without responding correctly.
May I ask if this issue has happened in specific games or if it also occurs in scenarios such as typing in other software?
If possible, we would appreciate it if you could provide a video recording of the issue.
However, since you have already sent it in for repair, we recommend relying mainly on the post-service assistance offered by the dealer.

Ive been testing the board for 2 weeks now and different strange things happened. Automatic CPU clock decrease (just starting a game  in the menu this results in clock decrease from 6Ghz to 4.4Ghz. and in Windows it's right back at 6Ghz.), when entering any game, unwillingly exiting games/outlook in an instant and the USB issues. The bord sees multiple Keyboards and mices (without the proper ID) (Razor Blackwidow3 and Razor Viper 8k). In game all inputs stops after a couple of minutes, and after a lag period of 10-60 sec the game responds to the input a gave 10-60sec ago. After I stop providing input and waiting for a couple of minutes it's back to normal but it repeats itselves in a accumulating (faster) timeperiod. Yes i'll did anything at could do, New Bios @ default, New firmware 1.15.001, other devices, other ports, not installing any USB which i could do without (but X73-Watercooling-Keyboard-Mouse), fresh Win11Pro install, all problems remain.

Due to a RMA call to my dealer I am not able to provide a video of this. I will inform the dealer we had contact about this. The dealer is: Megekko in the Netherlands.

This is my personal game rig, so having none in the last holiday period was...   I used ASUS products all my life and build several PC's every year (for others), but never expierenced these problems before.

Hello Jiazzz_ROG, finally the board is send and delivered to the Asus repair center. The Asus RMA number is:  CZA1S10692 . Please do a good but swift repair or replace it with a new board. Regards Rob

Any luck? I'm having the same issue. I have to unplug and replug the keyboard to get it working again.  This has been an issue since purchase and continues after the bios update for me as well.  I cannot be a day let alone weeks for my motherboard to be repaired.  Between this an other issues, I've very disappointed.
