ROG Strix Z790-A, power ok, no bios, no boot

Hi,

I just set up my PC and it was working well for one week. Since then, it does not boot anymore.

On the motherboard, the led CPU blinks then the DRAM is ON for some second, then OFF. Then every Q-LED are OFF.

My USB devices are not powered and no signal on my screen (can't even access BIOS). Does anyone experiences this issue or know how to solve it.

I did check my 2 RAM - Corsaire Vengeance DDR4 - 3600Mhz (they were on A2 and B2) and tested on another computer. I checked the CPU pins. I also tried the CMOS reset.

Regards.

More information:

I did update the BIOS and enabled the XMP mode. It works fine for several hours till the issue occured. I tried to reflash the BIOS but nothing changed.

Here's my configuration:

  •  ROG STRIX Z790-A GAMING WIFI D4
  • Intel i7-13700K
  • Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO SL DD4 2x16GB 3600 MHz
  • RTX 3080 Ti Vision

Hi @Khix13

1. Clear CMOS

2. Remove the AC and BIOS battery and wait 3 to 5 minutes

3. If using a CPU contact frame, remove it and reinstall the stock retention bracket

4. Insert one memory module into DIMM slot A2

5. Remove discrete GPU and attempt to POST using the iGPU

Report back with any change or if behaviour remains the same
