So, I have a ROG STRIX X870E-E GAMING WIFI, and I noticed that the RTX 3050 I have populating the second slot is only running at 4x speed, not 8x the card is specced for. And, as far as I can tell, nothing else shares bandwidth with this slot. Does anyone know why this could be happening?
Edit: Gosh, I'm stupid. I just noticed that the slot (which runs off the chipset) ONLY supports 4x mode from looking at the manual, as well at the "[Motherboard] Compatibility of PCIE bifurcation between Hyper M.2 series Cards and Add-On Graphic Cards" support page. Problem solved!
