Hello,
I am working on a PC build using a ROG Strix x870-A motherboard in a Corsair 4000D case. I am having trouble getting the USB Gbps male connector from the case to fit in the female connector on the MB. I have applied a significant amount of force while even supporting the back of the motherboard. The female connector looks to have a plastic molded piece of material that forms a "step" at the base of the connector, right under the ten pins on the right and crossing over to butt-up against the 10 pins on the left that are a little lower.
From what I can tell on the limited amount of detailed pictures of these female connectors online, it seems to me that this "step" should not be present and it should be just a flat bottom on the female connector. Has anyone came across something like this?
Cheers,
