Hello everyone,
Earlier today, my PC shut down out of the blue and refused to turn back on. I assumed it was a problem with the PSU so I went and bought a new one, assembled everything and the problem seemed sorted.
After a bit I stepped away from the PC and when I came back it had rebooted and had that "F1 to load defaults" option on screen. I grew weary but it then booted and worked normally.
A bit later I stepped away again and when I came back it was completely off and it won't turn on.
The RJ45 led blinks and I'm able to do a BIOS flash through the back port (at least the led back there indicated so). Other than that, nothing happens when I press power (I also bought a new case so that switch is brand new) or short the two power pins with a metal piece.
I've tried clearing the CMOS, removing everything attached to the motherboard, switching\removing memories and so on (I'm an IT support guy so I went though the obvious).
Any tips or suggestions before I send this into the warranty realm?
Thanks

Hello @dum0nster
Thank you for reaching out to us.
May I ask if there were any hardware or software changes made prior to the boot issue, such as a BIOS update or the installation of a new drive? When the boot failure occurred, were any Q-LED indicators solid on?
Based on your description, we recommend referring to the ROG STRIX B760-F GAMING WIFI user manual to ensure all hardware is correctly installed, including verifying that there are no bent CPU pins.
Additionally, please attempt a minimal hardware configuration test by removing the case and installing only the CPU (using integrated graphics output if supported), the CPU cooler, a single RAM module in the DIMM_A2 slot, and the PSU on the motherboard. Then, check if the system can boot into the BIOS.
If you decide to proceed with a repair, please contact your place of purchase or local support team for further assistance.
Thank you.
