ROG STRIX B650E-E GAMING WIFI BIOS 1636 slow post

Hello everyone, 

Just updated my BIOS from 1616 to 1636 and noticed a slow post comparing with 1616, the only changes in my configs are:

Memory are at 6000, VDD and VDDQ are at 1.40v and SOC: 1.20V

with the same configs 1616  is very fast, anyone with similar issue?

May I ask if clearing CMOS and resetting BIOS settings to default help in reducing the POST time?
Could you please provide the full brand, model, and part number of the installed memory, as well as the slots they are currently installed in on the motherboard?
Apart from the extended POST time, have you noticed any other differences after updating to BIOS 1636?

memory: 16x2  A-Data AX5U6000C4016G-B at 6000Mhz

Both installed on recommended slots 2 and 4, after updating the bios I have changed the settings to my previous one and have not tested at default configs. no other issues noticed.

I have loaded the default bios configs and the post is a little bit faster but the memory speed is reduced to 4800...

Thank you for providing the clarification.
According to the user manual of the ROG STRIX B650E-E GAMING WIFI, it is recommended to install the two memory modules in slots A2 and B2.

I'm not entirely sure if this corresponds to what you mentioned as 2 and 4, but the priority order of memory slots might have a slight impact. We would suggest verifying this.
Regarding your memory overclocking to 6000, did you enable Expo I?
Generally, overclocked memory compared to the default configuration can result in longer boot times.

@Jiaszzz_ROG , my friend, the memories are on correct slots, the issue is with BIOS 1636, all was fine at 1616, so, what changed? this is what you should be looking for. it is not the setup, the only thing that i have changed is the BIOS version

Same issue on my board (ROG B650 E-F).  Not sure the boot time prior but the yellow post light now says on for a significantly longer amount of time and total boot is around 1 min.  No issues outside of the longer boot time...

Please try clearing the CMOS and restoring the BIOS settings to default, and check if the system can boot properly with the default BIOS settings.
May I ask if the yellow Q-LED indicator light indicates an issue with the DRAM?
We recommend referring to the steps outlined in [Motherboard] ASUS motherboard troubleshooting via Q-LED indicators specifically for DRAM troubleshooting.
This includes installing the memory in the recommended A2 and B2 slots on the motherboard.
The memory part number you provided, "F5-6000J3636F16GX2-FX5," is not listed in the QVL for the ROG STRIX B650E-F GAMING WIFI motherboard model.

Please cross-test with memory modules that are listed in the QVL if possible.
