Hello @Silalamus
Thank you for reaching out to us.
Could you confirm if you originally updated from BIOS version 3067 to 3222? Is the currently installed chipset driver version v7.01.08.129, and have you also updated the AMD NPU driver to version 32.0.203.242 for Windows 11 64-bit?
To further understand your situation, could you please kindly provide the following information:
- clear images of the BIOS main page under both version 3067 and 3222
- After clearing CMOS and without making any manual BIOS changes, the differences observed in the “amd3dvcachesvc” item under Task Manager between the two BIOS versions
- the brand, model, and installed slots or ports for your GPU, RAM (including part number), SSD/HDD, and PSU
- the current OS version and OS build
If possible, it would be helpful if you could also share the .CMO configuration files and video recordings of system behavior under both BIOS versions
Thank you.

Hello @Jiaszzz_ROG
Thanks for looking at my post, I will be away for the weekend and get back to you probably early next week and provide the needed details.
But as of writing this reply to you I can confirm right away the details you mentioned below:
A.)
"Could you confirm if you originally updated from BIOS version 3067 to 3222? Is the currently installed chipset driver version v7.01.08.129, and have you also updated the AMD NPU driver to version 32.0.203.242 for Windows 11 64-bit?"
- Yes, I updated my bios from 3067 to 3222
- I installed the chipset driver version v7.01.08.129 after updating the bios to 3222
- AMD NPU driver to version 32.0.203.242 I did not install this driver because I was thinking this is for higher processor such as Ryen 7 9800X3D using AI technology.
B.)
- the brand, model, and installed slots or ports for your GPU, RAM (including part number), SSD/HDD, and PSU
Will provide by next week this info:
Thanks.

Hello @Silalamus
Thank you for providing the relevant information.
We have consulted with the relevant team and would like to confirm whether the issue of 'amd3dvcachesvc' being disabled or inactive was not present prior to updating to BIOS version 3222 and installing the related drivers. In addition, have you encountered any other abnormalities or unexpected behavior during use?
We would also appreciate it if you could check whether the same issue with “amd3dvcachesvc” appears in BIOS version 3257, which is currently the latest version available on the ROG STRIX B650-A GAMING WIFI support site.
Thank you in advance for your assistance in providing confirmation, related screenshots, and video recordings. We will promptly consult the relevant team once received.

Hi @Jiaszzz_ROG
I'm back at Bios Version 3067 with AMD Chipset Driver V6.10.22.027 you can see below in task manger its working normal:
After any bios update and installation of correct bios version that service should be running since I need it for my infinity cache o my X3D chip.

Hi @Jiaszzz_ROG
Im now using the latest 3257 bios with AMD Chipset Driver v7.01.08.129:
But we still have the same issue, please note i reset the bios settings to default and removed any custom settings:
AMD3dvcache is configured to run automatically but you can see that it is in stopped working even if i try to re-enable it it just goes to stopped working.

@Jiaszzz_ROG - save you some time and effort with my thread issue - seems like my processor 7800x3d wont be affected with amd3dvcache not working as I only have a single CCD as a comment from Jay2cents.
