ROG STRIX B650-A GAMING WIFI not detected the graphic card then bios upgrade

Hello,

I have a ROG STRIX B650-A GAMING WIFI motherboard, and every time I update the BIOS, I always have problems with the graphics card. I have the TUF Gaming GeForce RTX™ 3070 V2 OC Edition 8GB, and it turns out that it doesn’t detect it. The LEDs turn on and everything, but I restart several times and nothing happens. I always have to go back to a previous version or the one that works best for me to be able to use the graphics card.

I’ve entered the BIOS multiple times, gone into NB configuration, and set the Primary Video Device to VIDEO-PCIE. I’ve also cleared the BIOS using the CLR button with the battery.

I’ve formatted the computer in case it was a Windows 11 issue, but nothing. I don’t know what the problem might be.

The version I updated to was 3035, and I was coming from 3024.

Hello @ryksu

We apologize for the delayed response due to the recent local holiday.
Thank you for reaching out to us, and we would like to investigate your issue further.
About the LED you mentioned, may I ask if you are referring to the VGA Q-LED indicator that lights up to signal a boot failure?
Could you confirm whether your GPU is installed in the PCIEX16_1 or PCIEX16_2 slot, and if you are using any extension cables to connect the GPU? At the time the issue occurs, is the M.2_3 slot occupied?
If you are using extension cables, we recommend removing them during testing and installing the GPU directly onto the motherboard.

Kindly share the following information to help us better understand your situation:
- the images of BIOS main page
- the brand, model name, and installed slots or ports of the CPU, GPU, RAM (part number and installed slots as well), SSD/HDD, and PSU
- are there any extensions or adapters used to connect any devices, such as GPU or SSD?
- the OS version and OS build
- in addition to testing the 3035 BIOS version, which doesn't detect the GPU, and the previous 3024 version that worked correctly, have you tried any other BIOS versions, such as 3040, and what were the results?

If possible, please also share the video of how the GPU output display can be used correctly before updating the BIOS, but not after the update.

Thank you.

As the local holiday is ongoing, there may be further delays in responses.
We appreciate your patience in advance.
