I have been using this motherboard for a while but I then went and upgraded my ram, gpu, and ssd. When I reinstalled windows it wouldn't detect my network adapter even after installing drivers. I tried plugging into LAN and that didn't work. However when I use a USB wifi card it works. Linux also didn't detect the cards
I looked at the motherboard to see if there is an issue and a capacitor next to the ram slot got damaged and fell off. Could this be the cause?

Hello, @Cryptix
Regarding the damaged capacitor you mentioned, since it involves hardware damage, it may affect the functionality of the motherboard and raise safety concerns during use.
Therefore, we recommend that you promptly contact your retailer or the ASUS official customer service in your area to arrange for an RMA.
Generally, we advise updating the BIOS to the latest version after hardware replacement.
However, as mentioned above, please consider arranging for repair and inspection of your motherboard as soon as possible.
If you encounter any difficulties or concerns after creating an RMA, since it may involve personal information, feel free to DM me your RMA or service number.
Thank you.
