Sorry associated products does not list my title page, my current model. Has anyone tried this DDR5 yet, I am looking for what BIOS to use. All MB and parts are on the way. G.SKILL Trident Z5 RGB Series 96GB (2 x 48GB) 288-Pin PC RAM DDR5 6400 (PC5 51200) Desktop Memory Model F5-6400J3239F48GX2-TZ5RS. It is on the MB ASUS QVL. I have been building since ASUS z270 years ago. Is it just me or has anyone else noticed that ASUS shows  2 different DDR5,  total capacity, 192GB and 256GB.? Depending on which ASUS page you look at.

Hi @SALTIAC1

higher capacity modules have only recently come to market, as well as the subsequent BIOS updates, so it's likely the maximum capacity hasn't been updated on some regional sites - are you able to provide a link?

That kit should be fine, however, for the best possible chance of success with overclocking I'd recommend sticking to kits on the QVL.

Thanks for the reply, as I said I have been building my own  Computers since back in the days of the ASUS TUFF Z270,  I always check the QVL list and stick with it, I check the MB site, and the  modules makers site to ensure the modules will work as well. As far as the total capicity, it is in several sites/places, the manual for my MB, ROG site itself, sellers sites of the MB, 2 different ASUS sites, one ASUS site says 192GB, 1 says 256GB, ASUS BIOS info page list the higher capacity. All are US sites. BTW 1 other question. For BIOS updates I can not find anything in reference to which type of USB Flash drive to use for BIOS updates. In the past it has been version 2.0 USB flash Drive, since this is a newer board, I wonder which to use as USB Flash drives,  for BIOS updates, they have greatly changed through many years, version 2.0, 3.0, etc.,  what will work is what I am after.

Last part of my reply/question, for BIOS updates, which I am very familiar with, which version of a USB FLASH drive is ASUS now using for this MB, I know it does matter. USB VERSION 2.0, 3.0, ETC.

as previously mentioned, can take some time for all places to propagate. The recent BIOS updates add support for higher capacity DIMMs.

USB standard >2.0 onward is fine. Format to FAT32
