ROG MAXIMUS Z790 DARK HERO won't enter BIOS

I just completed a build and have had to install windows 11 a few times.

I just realized that the F1 and DEL keys stop working to get me into the BIOS.

What I have done so far

1. Installed latest BIOS.

2. Cleared CMOS with the CMOS button (after which it was stuck on the screen asking me to press F5 to enter factory defualt or F1 to enter BIOS) None of the keys worked

3. Changed key boards.

4. Reinstalled BIOS multiple times, use the use the REtry button and FLex key button multiple times to no avail.

All keyboards work but it seems that during boot none of the keys on the key board works.

I need help to enter BIOS please

I called support and they reached out to me with this link and I use it to reach the BIOS and reset. Hopefully it helps someone sometime

Hi!
1. Do you have a wired or wireless keyboard?
2. Try with a different keyboard and better wired.

As indicated I tried changed keyboards. I have both wired and wireless. None got me into the BIOS

As above, what keyboard? Make sure to try wired with F2.

The wired is a gaming keyboard and wireless is a regular keyboard. I just tried the wired with F2 and it did not work. Still not going into the BIOS. When it used to go into BIOS the wireless keyboard would work. It just stopped working and I dont understand why.

Maybe on a wired keyboard you need to press the key combination Fn + F2. Tried the Del key to enter the bios? Maybe you don't have time to press the key?

You updated the Bios, and after the update it is always reset to the default settings. What does the link have to do with it? And what helped you? You enter the Bios before booting the operating system. What does Windows safe mode have to do with it?

Please read the entire thread and you'd understand what I was trying to solve or the problem I had. Had nothing to do with BIOS update but to do with not being able to to enter BIOS with the DEL or F2 keys.

After I followed the instructions in the link below and entered BIOS, and made the changes suggested in the link, now the DEL and F2 keys are working to get me into BIOS
