Hello. I have an Asus rog strix x870e-e motherboard and I installed a new system by buying a hyperion case. As you can see in the screenshot, only 3 fans are visible in the fan xpert.
There are 3 normal fans in the front of the hyperion case and 1 exhaust fan in the back. There is also a rog ryujin 3 argb liquid cooling. This liquid cooling has 3 radiators and 1 built-in vrm fan. So there are 8 fans in total. The case fans come pre-connected to the hub. I connected 1 "FOR MB" power cable from the hub to the relevant place on the motherboard.
My question is;
Do the case fans connected to the hub appear as only one in the armoury crate?
How can I control the speed of these fans and make them appear in the fan xpert? In the BIOS, there are 3 fans, just like in the fan xpert.

The fans are plug to the board (case fan hub) in the case and a cable to the motherboard PWM port. I will asume is Chassis 1 on your image.
ALL THAT IS PLUG to that board of the case will be see as 1 fan.
Is a hub. does not have control over individual fans.
A normal hub.
Make sure FAN 1 is plug since is the one that control all of them. fail to do so all fans will run at 100%.
Tip: the hub is very powerfull. But i will recomend IF YOU change the case fans, make sure all that is plug to the board (caseHub) are the same so you have a good flow since 1 control all 6. same on the argb. On that case is case and fans will works as 1
the 100% is just IF was not plug on FAN1.
Regarding on separation, you can unplug the read fan, plug to Chassis fan 1, and the hub, that is front fans, can be control. on that area, is how i control my fans in my case.
You can use Chassis Fan 2 to use the hub.
If you see the image there are sensor reading gpu. so more temps activate the front fan base on the temp of te gpu so move more air if needed.
Regarding on armory crate, after 6 years helping user day by day, the new v6 version is working fine. I have no issue what so over on the app, functions or less errors.The ac6 bring the funtions for 5000 works better that is not on the old version, even that push update to appear. you need a module add on, and update to make that work.
That being say above, i am very happy with v6 even that my z690 board does not have the addons that has new board like audio or network. or have other devices like the aio.
After years collaboration with users and asus on some-point the help and reports get there, and most where good reports that help asus on its fixes. Most where windows related other where other areas that there are good people that brainstorm it .
I do this now on close environment and the small group that i help are lime me. no issues. there is no reason to use to complete install even that i have try it. I did make clean wipe, my way work, install windows 24h2 drivers and install ac and since before 04/25/22025 is working fine as before. If there is a issue mostly is windows
Be sure if there is core (armory crate app) issue they will now first hand.
back to the fans, try what i put above. What i did since i use a 4090 tuf oc, my back fan and front are using gpu sensor. once fans reach X amount of temp ramp the speed so move air needed. Is my way. and sure the speed will be notable on your ears. but for me is cool and sound second. There are good tip that is not target on the post. I use acv6 open on gaming to check temps side by side with gt3 and sometimes gpuz to check other stars just in case. and yes some features are on modules needed to install. Aura you need playground. and fan expert you need assistant.

I set it up like in this video.
As you can see in the picture, I used the pump cable coming from rog ryujin to the aio pump header, the pump cpu power header to the cpu fan and the usb slot below for the lcd. There are two cables coming from the radiator. One is the power cable, which I connected to cha_fan1 below and the cable for rgb to its place in the hub.
I don't think there's anything wrong. The system seems to be working properly, but I can get your ideas.

It does not see the motherboard and gpu right now. The gpu is installed in the system but even though I made the lighting smart, the system is in rainbow because the armoury crate does not work properly. Who will solve this problem and how?
Also, the amd ryzen 9 9950x3d processor freezes in the system. Games, applications and windows start ups are slow. And dota 2 freezes and then fixes itself. Do I need to make adjustments in the bios?
After I made the CPPC setting "Driver", it was fixed but today the game froze again. The CPU temperature used to be 34 degrees and now it is between 49-50. When CPPC was "auto", it was 33 degrees. Is this motherboard incompatible with this processor? Does no asus official see the posts in this forum?
