ROG Crosshair X870E Hero Q-Code

Whytiptoe
Level 7

I have built this computer, and everything seems to work fine. However, Q-Codes that repeat are 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39. I am on the latest BIOS of 1203.

Build is the following: CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D. Memory: G. Skill Trident Z5 NEO 64GB 32X2 6000MT/s CL30-40-40-96, GPU: AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX, Monitors: Samsung Odyssey G65B, and G95NC (I have to run them on separate GPUs to get the G95NC to run 240Hz off the RX 7900 XTX), Operating System: Windows 11 Pro.

If someone knows of a service/company that I could use to help maintain my system I would like to know who they are.

Not sure if this helps or not.

Hello @Whytiptoe

Thank you for reaching out to us.
If you are referring to the numbers displayed onboard Q-Code during the POST process, these codes represent the system’s detection of various hardware components.
Under normal circumstances, the numbers will change as each component is being checked. If the display freezes on a specific code, it may indicate an issue with the corresponding hardware.
However, if your system is able to boot normally into the OS without any abnormal behavior, there is no need for concern, as the changing Q-Code numbers are part of the normal operation.
For more detailed information, please refer to [Motherboard] Common Q-CODE (Error CODE) and Troubleshooting, as well as the Q-Code table on page 59 of the ROG CROSSHAIR X870E HERO user manual.

Thank you.
