ROG Crosshair X670E Extreme - Realtek USB Audio Dropping Connection Randomly

Referring to my post ‎11-25-2023 09:10 PM which is now locked I am still facing the random USB issues/crashes

The PC freezes for a few seconds my RGB seems to reset, the AnimeMatrix freezes, and the sound drops out, windows plays a bunch of USB connect and disconnect sounds, mouse and keyboard stop working. Then everything works again except the Anime Matrix and the Aura LED lighting. I have been having this problem for months now and there has been no solution. I've had to disable the in game ligthing effects to keep my system stable and to be on the safe side also disabled the iCUE plug-in for Asus.

Based on your previous responses in the thread: ROG Crosshair X670E Extreme - Realtek USB Audio Dropping Connection Randomly, you mentioned that removing the internal USB hub resolved the issue, but it seems to have recurred again.
As your situation in this post appears to be identical, may I inquire if you are using the internal USB hub again?
Did the situation occur after any changes were made, such as updating the BIOS or connecting an external device, or did it occur right after assembling the PC?
In the previous thread, you mentioned trying to reinstall the system twice without resolving the issue.
Could you confirm if the system disk you are currently using is brand new?
If possible, we suggest removing all SSDs and HDDs, installing a brand new drive, and then installing the OS to rule out any potential hardware issues or malware situations.
Also, please confirm the current BIOS version and consider updating to the latest BIOS 1905 for the ROG CROSSHAIR X670E EXTREME, followed by clearing CMOS, and then rechecking the situation.
If the issue persists despite multiple attempts at troubleshooting, please consider contacting the retailer to arrange further diagnostic testing or repair.

Hi, @Jiaszzz_ROG the problem started around the time I posted the original thread. The PC was working fine for a few months after I built it. I thought the problem was solved when I removed that hub and I haven't re-installed it. It seemed to work fine for a while again but now it's happening again. I'm guessing the hub was coincidental. There were many updates to BIOS, Armory Crate and Windows itself and it is difficult for me to pinpiont what exactly caused the problem to occur. One thing that does seem to help is to disable the in game lighting effects in Armoury Crate but again this could just be coincidental as well. The OS is Windows 11 dowloaded from Microsoft. Current BIOS installed is 1905. Clearing CMOS neverhad any affect on the issue. I am not sure what the retailer can do especially if this is an issue with the motherboard.
