Request for Replacement of Defective ASUS ROG Strix Z790-F Gaming WiFi Motherboard Under Warrant

Dear ASUS Support Team,

I am writing to express my disappointment and concern regarding my ASUS ROG Strix Z790-F Gaming WiFi motherboard. After just over a year of use, the board has started exhibiting serious instability — sometimes it works for a few hours, but other times it fails to boot altogether.

Initially, I suspected a PSU issue and replaced it, but the problem persisted. After further troubleshooting, I confirmed that the motherboard itself is defective. This is highly unexpected from a premium ASUS ROG product, especially since I migrated from another vendor to ASUS on the basis of its reliability, build quality, and gaming orientation. Unfortunately, this experience has been extremely disappointing.

The product has already been submitted to the service center for repair. However, I am concerned that a repaired motherboard will not provide the same long-term stability as a new one. As you are aware, motherboards are complex, and intermittent issues often return even after component-level repairs.

Given that:

  • The motherboard failed within a short period (just about a year of normal use).

  • This is a premium product that should last well beyond the current usage period.

  • The product is still within the official warranty period.

I kindly but firmly request a full replacement unit instead of a repair to ensure long-term reliability and restore my confidence in ASUS products.

I trust ASUS will stand by its reputation for quality and customer satisfaction. Please let me know the next steps and how this request can be escalated if necessary.
