Hi
Recently i just bought Asus x870e Hero mother board. Built the PC and install Windows 11 from scratch and then installed the drivers through Asus driver hub. But when i want to start Realtek Audio Console, it always throw "Can not connect to RPC service" error.
I have tried clean up the driver then reinstall, this time with manually download from the support page, still nothing. I even tried the driver and the guide from here:
but i haven't succeeded yet.
One thing that i notice is the RtkAudioUniversalService services that supposed to be installed is not present in the Services lists.
And in the Event Viewers there is an error that i thought related to this :
Anyone can help? Since i use surround speaker, i need to set it up from the Realtek Audio Console
Thanks

Hi @Jiaszzz_ROG
Finally i have succeeded to fix the problem, what i have done is forcing to install the driver manually from the Device Manager. So in the Device Manager, right click on the list, Add Drivers, and browse to Win 11 drivers folder (that i have been downloaded from Asus support page), and let the Device Manager search and install the driver
So looks like the drivers installer is not functioning right

Hi @Levikpar1
Here is the step what i do. In my case it solved the problem, i have tried reinstalling the windows and do the same step again, and it works.
1. Download the Realtek audio driver from your motherboard support page and extract the driver
2. Install the driver (you need to do this) and restart the PC
3. Go to the Device Manager. And on the top of the list, Right click on your PC name and click Add Driver.
4. Click Browse (make sure the "Include subfolders" is tick/active). Then browse to the driver folder that your download in the 1st step
4. Then click Next. Wait till all the driver files are installed and Restart the PC
5. If the Realtek Audio Console application is not installed in your PC. Then installed the apps with this direct link to the apps in the windows store. Install it from the windows store. If its already installed in your PC then just run Realtek Audio Console from the start menu
I hope that help solves your problem.

Hello @boedzals
Thank you for reaching out to us.
Could you please confirm the build version of your Windows 11 and whether all updates have been applied?
Based on the issue you described, it could be due to "Realtek Audio" might not being enabled in the task manager or incomplete driver installation.
We recommend enabling the relevant services in the task manager and restarting the system or uninstalling and reinstalling the driver.
Kindly ensure that you are using the verified driver version available on the ROG CROSSHAIR X870E HERO support site.
If needed, you may refer to the troubleshooting methods provided in the link for further assistance
Thank you.

Hi @Jiaszzz_ROG
Thank you for replying
My build windows 11 24H2, and all update has been applied
I have been uninstalling and reinstalling the driver few times, even reinstall clean the windows 2 times since this a new PC anyway, trying different driver versions, etc. It might be true the issue is from Realtek Audio is not being enabled, problem is i can not run/restarting the service since its not there in the first place. I can't find RtkAudioUniversalService in the services list and in start up programs list
And i also have tried the troubleshooting method, "Remove all Realtek component in device manager, restart, and then install the driver", like the link that you provided, and still no good.

My dear friend, you have the final solution for the entire internet, and believe me, tonight I was not going to sleep peacefully... just like you, I had already reinstalled Windows 3 times, I went into regedit to change values, I did a thousand things, I tried a thousand drivers... and I finally found your solution and apart from everything you helped me by answering my question in a timely manner... I have no way to express my gratitude since I even thought about changing my sound system... thank you very much, I have a theory and The thing is that the most recent version of Windows 11 comes with drivers that cheat on the official driver and does not install it, I say this because before the fresh installation it worked well for me. Thanks again!!!
