Big problem with my PC.
When i start my PC looking at the lcd i can see :
CPU ICON
CPU
DE:D0
then 2 seconds later only the CPU ICON.
Then nothing else.
I have removed everything (memory, HDD, M2, Graphic card etc...).
Fans and internal lcd are working properly.
I have change the power supply for à new one.
I have changed my CPU with another one and it is exactly the same.
I flashback the bios. On the lcd everything is OK "Flash OK".
So it seems that some parts of the mothercboard are working.
Do you have any idea of what to test and how?
Thanks for your help.
François

You can also try switching to bios number 2 and see what happens.

Hello, @francoistoen
Could you please clarify if this issue occurred after the PC was first built or after using it for some time and occurred following any recent changes, such as a BIOS update or component replacement?
Is your current BIOS version 3801, and if you clear CMOS and boot into the system with the default BIOS settings, does the issue still occur?
If you only install the CPU, RAM, GPU , and PSU, can you use the integrated graphics output to boot into the BIOS?
Kindly share an image of the screen that appears with the message you mentioned during boot or a complete video of the boot failure.
Thank you.

Current Rampage VI Extreme Encore bios is 1601 and there is no integrated graphics on this platform.

Hi
Problem occurs after 5 years of good working PC. Then it is a Rampage VI extreme ENCORFE with actual BIOS 1601 and no graphics ouput.
I remove everything (memory, GPU, HDD, M2 and so on).
Faithfully.

Hello, @francoistoen
Thank you for your response, but we are still unclear about the scenario you described.
Could you please provide the current and attempted BIOS versions, relevant videos, and error message images, as well as the brands and models of the CPU, GPU, RAM, and PSU that have been installed and cross-tested?
Kindly share more detailed context and hardware specs to help us better understand the scenario.
Thank you.

Hi
Here is my basic configuration
ASUS Rampage 6 Extreme encore motherboard BIOS 1601
Intel core 19-10900KF as CPU
Corsair RM 850 power supply
Corsair H100i RGB PLATINUM AIO
Graphics RX 580 8Go
Memory 32 Go (4x8) RIPJAWS G.SKILL DDR4 4000 Quad kit
Windows 11 Pro 23H2
The probleme arised with no graphics output.
I opened the tower to see what hapen. I changed graphics with RX 480. No more video output.
Then i Noticed on the internel LCD Display that only an icon of cpu chips appears and nothing else.
I shut down ans power on again looking at the lcd display. The sequence is :
Cpu icon alone Then CPU icon and below : DE:D0 during 2s then only CPU icon remainiong all the time. (It is not a normal sequence when we boot the system). Fans are running.
At that time i remove everything letting only Power supply, Motherboard, CPU and AIO. And the same sequence as above occured.
Motherboard or CPU failed? I change CPU with a new one Core i7-7800 (LGA 2066) no luck exact the same thing.
I tried to change bios from 1 to 2. No change. I remove cmos battery, clear cmos and put a new CR 2032. Restart exactly the same. I tried
to flashback the bios and the ystem seems to be working for flashing, the lcd displayed "FLASH OK". New boot and no change.
I expect those explanations will help you.
Yours faithfully
François

Hello, @francoistoen
We appreciate the hardware specifications and scenario details you provided.
Could you please share a photo showing only the CPU icon?
Regarding the mention of "DE: D0" in the original post, could you clarify further?
If the Q-code "D0" appears during boot failure, it indicates a CPU abnormality, and we will recommend checking the CPU socket for any bent or stained pins or damage to eliminate potential hardware issues.
For further guidance, please refer to the [Motherboard] Common Q-CODE (Error CODE) and Troubleshooting documentation.
If the mentioned troubleshooting methods fail to assist you in booting up correctly, kindly cross-test the hardware components with another motherboard or consider whether further examination and repair of the motherboard are necessary.
Thank you.
