Good evening, to turn off the PC LEDs (RAM, fans, etc.) a friend advised me to go to the advanced settings of the BIOS, then to the LED lighting group, and find the wording: when system in in sleep, hibernate or soft off states (under "when system is in working state" and again "q-code led funcion"), and select the stealth mode option. However, my PC in advanced only has, in LED lighting, the wording when system is in working state, and there I selected stealth mode (also missing are "when system is in working state" and "q-code led funcion"). But I search for "when system in in sleep, hibernate or soft off states" and I can't find it... what could be the cause? Thanks

Hello @yuujsjjs
Thank you for reaching out to us and sharing the BIOS setting images.
Please note that the available configuration options in the BIOS may vary depending on the motherboard model, BIOS version, or the hardware detected during the POST process.
We recommend referring to Part 1: How to turn off the AURA lighting effects of MB to check whether the relevant settings can be found under the Onboard Devices Configuration.
Regarding the Q-Code LED Function, could you clarify whether you are referring to Q-LED Core, Q-Code, or Q-LED, and are you looking to disable a specific function?
To assist us in better understanding your situation, please provide the full model of your motherboard and the BIOS version you are currently using.
Thank you.

I have a Rog strix Z790-f gaming wifi, and the bios version, which appears at the bottom (in the second image) is 2.22.1286. I mentioned Qled only because in the image they are the option immediately above the option I am looking for. The problem is that in the first image, the one of my friend's PC, there is the wording: when system in in sleep, hibernate or soft off states" while in the second image, the one of my PC, I can't find it. Where can I find that wording in my case?

Hello @yuujsjjs
Regarding the BIOS version, you can check it in the BIOS EZ Mode:
Or on the Main page:
We recommend referring to the link provided earlier or consulting the BIOS manual on page 80 and checking the settings under the path Advanced > Onboard Devices Configuration, where you will find the options for LED lighting, including Q-Code LED Function and When system is in sleep, hibernate, or soft off states.
Thank you.

Thanks

Hello @yuujsjjs
May I confirm if you have installed Armoury Crate and set the Shutdown Effect to "off"? Could you also share the current BIOS version? Please refer to the screenshot I provided earlier for the correct method to verify the BIOS version.
If possible, you may follow the steps in Part 1: How to turn off the AURA lighting effects of the motherboard and record a video. This will help us verify the version and settings of your Armoury Crate, as well as the BIOS version and configuration.
Thank you.

Yes, Armoury Crate, ****** program, is installed and i setted the Shutdown Effect to "off", and the bios version, which appears at the bottom (in the second image) is 2.22.1286. But i already shout down the light, in icue and armoury butting dark and black to the light, in icue and armooury. Can you say me where to find the option i search "when system in in sleep, hibernate or soft off states" in my bios version?

Hello @yuujsjjs
The version you mentioned, 2.22.1286, does not correspond to the BIOS version.
Without the correct BIOS version information, it will be challenging to investigate the missing "When system is in sleep, hibernate, or soft off states" configuration.
Could you kindly refer to the screenshot guide I provided earlier and share the BIOS version, as well as the images of the BIOS EZ Mode and BIOS Main page?
Thank you.

Hello @yuujsjjs
We recommend setting the "When system is in working state" option to [All On], then checking if the "When system is in sleep, hibernate, or soft off states" option becomes available.
If it does not, kindly save the "When system is in working state" setting as [All On], restart your system, and then check the setting again.
Additionally, the latest BIOS version for the ROG STRIX Z790-F GAMING WIFI motherboard is 2801. We recommend evaluating whether updating to this version might be helpful and confirming the issue again afterward.
Thank you.
