As we can see here the SVI3 measurement taken from AMD’s controller on die closely matches the motherboards die sense measurement when taken correctly. All other measurements will appear higher than what the CPU actually receives depending where the SIO reading is tapped on the motherboards power plane. The BIOS updates that were released to limit VSOC do in fact stay below 1.3v and not over as the video in the op suggests.
Therefore the correct way to monitor the CPU’s SOC voltage is via SVI3 VDDCR_SOC sensor which can be found in both Ryzen Master and HWINFO.
