Quiet audio from Realtek audio output - X670E Hero

Hi all, I built a new computer using the Crosshair X670E Hero mobo. Everything is going well, but I've found that the audio is very quiet. I have to turn my speakers (Klipsch 2.1) to max volume to get something that's barely acceptable. I'm using the 3.5mm line out for the connection.

I've tried updating/changing drivers, modifying the Windows audio settings and some 3rd party software. None of this things had an impact. For comparison, when I connect the speakers to my Galaxy cell phone it's much louder and overall sounds better. Any ideas?

Hello @kebas239

Thank you for reaching out to us.
May I ask if you speakers are connected to the audio port on the case or the rear panel of the motherboard? Have you cross-tested with different ports or other speakers, and did you experience the same results?
In addition to ensuring that your BIOS and OS are updated to the latest versions and installing the latest audio driver available from the ROG CROSSHAIR X670E HERO official website, we recommend reviewing the suggestions provided in [Motherboard] Troubleshooting - Audio with no sound.

You may also refer to the recommendations shared in the comments section of the linked guide, such as disabling audio enhancements, and then check again.

Thank you.
