QCODE 00 for Z690

My motherboard frequently fails to boot. When I attempt to restart, it gets stuck on the 00 error code. This issue also arises during Windows updates. Additionally, if I shut down the PC and attempt to power it back on, I encounter the same 00 error code accompanied by a red CPU light. Yet, if I leave it untouched for about 20 minutes, it eventually boots up.

Motherboard: ROG STRIX Z690-E GAMING WIFI

CPU: Intel Core i9-12900K

RAM: G.SKILL Trident Z5 RGB Series 32GB (2 x 16GB)

May I ask if this issue occurred after the PC first build or if it happened after hardware changes (such as a CPU replacement)?
Please refer to the troubleshooting guide in [Motherboard] Troubleshooting - No Power/No Boot/No Display and conduct testing with minimal components to isolate the possible cause, also consider cross-testing with another CPU.
Additionally, if necessary, please attempt bare board testing on an insulated surface, ensuring safety precautions are taken into account.

You have a very good psu, there could still be an issue with it but let's hope not.

Have you tried updating to the latest motherboard bios? Generally, there are system stability enhancements with some versions.

Try updating the motherboard bios to version 3401 with the bios flashback feature.

Yes, I just updated the bios yesterday but the issue still persists. I don't have any solution to try and that's why I post it here.

It's a strange issue for sure, your pc works but throws code 00 on a restart, then boots 20 minutes later.

Just wondering if maybe the psu is getting hot.

Is the psu fan spinning?

Does the psu blow hot air?

Does your psu have good ventilation and good air flow? If it has a dust filter you could try removing it.

If none of this helps, would you by chance have another psu to test with?
