Q-Code 41 - 42

Hello all. I have the following components:

-Motherboard: Asus Rog Maximus Z790 Hero

-GPU: EVGA RTX 3090

-CPU: Intel Core I9 13900K  (8 P-cores + 16 E-cores)

-RAM: 4 x 16gb (64GB) Corsair Vengeance ARGB 6000mhz

- Power Supply: ROG Thor 1200W Platinum II

I am getting code 41 - 42 and sometimes goes up to 43 when playing games but mostly stays at 42. On the manual itself I cannot find the meaning. Sometimes my RGB fans turnoff and go on standby mode, not sure if this is connected with same error. Can someone assist?

Omg..... don't tell me guys it shows the temperature and not the code? 🤣

Hello Yozzur

If the Q-LED is set to Auto, it will show the cpu temp. You can change it to Post Code Only in the bios.

Enter the bios, Advanced tab, Onboard Devices Configuration.
