PSU Compatibility with Asus Strix b760 a

Hello,

I just switched out my PSU from a Corsair RM1000X to the RM1200X because the latter didn't give the full 600w to my GPU. It booted and operated fine until the switch. Now it will not boot up. I cannot seem to find a compatibility matrix on motherboards and PSUs. Does anyone know if the Asus Rog Strix is compatible with the Corsair RM1200X Shift PSU? If so,  what are my troubleshooting options?

I found the motherboard is compatible, it just didn't like this off brand blue cable I used for the ATX power module. Once I switched that out,  it booted up fine.

Hello, @Kowgirl

I'm glad you were able to pinpoint the problem.
However, due to safety considerations related to the power supply, we recommend referring to the instructions on page 1-9 of the ROG STRIX B760-A GAMING WIFI User’s Manual ( English Edition ), and ensure that all three power connectors are correctly connected.

Thank you.
