  • Hello guys. When Armory Crate installed a chipset driver update, it got stuck at 55%, after which I had no video signal. When restarting the PC, the CPU and RAM pass the test, the GPU does not pass it and I receive a sound code of 1 long beep and 3 short ones indicating that the GPU is not detected. The system configuration is MB Asus TUF Z690 plusD4 CPU i5 12600k RAM Corsair 3600mhz 2x16Gb Aorus 2080 Super WB GPU PSU Corsair HX 750 platinum 80+ I tried resetting the bios, removing the GPU, one RAM module at a time, I removed everything that means SSD, HDD, USB, without any positive results. Have you encountered something like this before, do you have any ideas?

Hello, @bodocolt

May I ask what your current BIOS version is, and have you tried clearing the CMOS?
Have you updated the Intel ME to the corresponding version in the BIOS?
For example, the latest BIOS version of the TUF GAMING Z690-PLUS D4 is 2703, which requires updating the Intel ME to 16.1.27.2176.
In addition to the buzzer, are there any Q-LED indicator lights on the motherboard?
If there are, please refer to the troubleshooting steps corresponding to the indicators in [Motherboard] ASUS motherboard troubleshooting via Q-LED indicators to attempt further.
If your BIOS is not the latest version, we recommend trying to update the BIOS and then clearing the CMOS before checking again.

Thank you.

Hello, @Jiaszzz_ROG.

Yes, I have the latest version of bios 2703 and update the Intel ME to 16.1.27.2176. when i installed the latest bios version 2703. After the CPU and RAM pass the test, the white LED stays on and after a few seconds the error code is heard, during which a green  led lights up which is below the white one (the 4th LED), so the 1 red CPU turns off, the 2 yellow GPU turns on turns off, 3 white GPU stays on at the time of the sound code, 4 green turns on and stays on, it also turns on. I definitely tried to clean the CMOS as well, but without any results. I cannot downgrade or upgrade the bios because it is passing the test and does not enter the bios section. in the end I gave up and sent the CPU and MB under warranty for checks. I'm 99% sure the motherboard chip failed. Otherwise, I can't explain why even after removing the GPU, I get the same error while the CPU passes the test and the 12600k has integrated graphics.

Hello. I'm back, no news. I received the motherboard and the processor from the service, tested ok, but I was still getting an error. After I called a friend with his computer and I tested the PSU, RAM GPU and receiving the same error on the motherboard, I said to try the monitor as well. The problem was from the monitor's DP socket. To this day, I have not encountered a defective monitor that gives an error on the motherboard during the component test. Right now, until I get another minitor, my PC works without problems on HDMI. I wish you a good day.

Hello. Is it necessary to update bios to version 2802 for i5 12600k or is it only for 13 gen
