Hello guys!
At the end of Martch, I bought a new ASUS Z790 Hero. I installed it (did not need to reinstall Windows) and booted up my system: I9 13900K, Z790 Hero, Aorus master RTX 4080, 64GB GSKIL DDR5 RAM.
What I'm worried about is that intermittently I get a blank screen upon the boot sequence reaching the Windows 11 welcome screen. My only fix is to power dopwn the monitor by unplugging it from the mains outlet, leaving it for a few seconds and powering the screen on on again. This works everytime. But let me clarify. The monitor powers on fine and searches for a signal. I power on my PC and I get the ASUS splash screen with the spinning wheel. Then, instead of the monitor going dark for a second or two before showing the Windows sign in screen, nothing.
I should mention that this is intermittent, and other than what I've described above, the PC, and games etc, work flawlessly. I have tried wiping the NVidia drivers, but no luck. I'm thinking it's something to do with the Z790's BIOS because the rest of my setup has remained the same, and I never encountered this issue before installing the Z790 Hero.
If anyone can offer any advice I'd be grateful.

Hello ElclilseTVGaming,
Your quote..

If you've upgraded your motherboard from a previous generation, you'll want to do a fresh windows install to avoid driver conflicts.
If you've replaced your ROG Maximus Z790 Hero, try updating the bios.

Hello, @EclilseTVGaming
Regarding instructions for updating the Intel ME, we recommend that you refer to [Motherboard] Intel® Management Engine Firmware Update Instructions (ME), and install the corresponding BIOS version on the support page of the ROG MAXIMUS Z790 HERO's official website, under "Driver & Utility > BIOS & FIRMWARE".
Thank you.

Yes, when you update to bios 1303, it will also update the ME driver.

Ok, I will record a video to show you how to put the bios file on a usb flash drive and rename it, then we'll use bios flashback to update the bios.
Give me a little time and I'll be right back.
