Hi everyone,
I have an asus proart x670e-creator wifi motherboard and an amd 7950x3D along with 196gb of ram.
The problems I have with the motherboard is when I try to connect my apollo x8 thunderbolt.
If I connect it with the system started, it doesn't recognize it. If I connect it when the system is off and then start, it doesn't recognise it either.
In bios, I have the proper values configured in AMD PBS, with the enable and no security options.
Can you help me?
i have a Studio and i cant even hear my speakers due to this mobo...
Please help, this problem is recurent whith all asus thunderbolt mobo, they perfectly know this problem...
A certain david had the right to have a custom bios from asus for his b550 pro, so i imagine it is possible for every others customers.
thanks

The problem lies with Asus and Intel when Intel introduced Thunder 3 and the 4 and AMD implemented it into the ProArt series boards and TB expansion cards they were backward compatible but when Intel updated their Thunderbolt drivers for 3&4 it rendered Thunderbolt 1&2 obsolete and nonfunctioning eliminating backward compatibility on the Asus and other manufacturers mobo's other than their own and Mac computers it seems that Asus and the other mobo companies would rather you buy new gear then render a downgrade Bios option, Asus had one that actually worked and then removed it for some dubious reasons even though it had actually worked and for some sus reason they did not post that the bios upgrade would render your Thunderbolt 1&2 gear would not work until after many people had updated their BIOS and were experiencing problems..smh
