Since I have tons of apps and settings, I cloned my old Win10 (Asus Z97D) and transferred to the new PC (Asus ROG Z790). It booted fine from the very start. Updated all drivers and no issues. All old apps are working, which is great. But...
With Armory Crate: Only Fan Xpert 4 works.
I cannot login to Armor Crate whatsoever, drivers update don't do anything etc.
On a fresh Win10 install, Armory Crate is fully functional.
I also seem to remember that on the fresh Win10, Armory Crate required UAC elevation during the install process ; which as I recall it bizarelly did not do on the transferred OS.
I would really like to avoid re-installing all the apps, transferring settings etc. The easiest would be to be able to make Armory Crate work on the cloned / updated Win10 system but I'm really wondering what's preventing it from being fully functional.
User / Owner issue ? Policies blocking some things ? Other ?

While I'm not entirely certain about your motherboard model being the ROG STRIX Z790-E GAMING WIFI, ROG STRIX Z790-A GAMING WIFI D4, or ROG MAXIMUS Z790 HERO, please try using the Armoury Crate uninstall tool to uninstall it and reinstall via the ROG STRIX Z790 support page, finish the update again, and reboot before once again confirming the problem.
If the issue persists, provide screenshots of the Armory Crate Update Center and a video that completely captures the problem's incidence and the surrounding environment.
