Hey all,
I've signed up to the forum tonight, as I've been trouble shooting for a few days and the references here have gotten me along so far.
However I think I've reached a stumbling block I can't seem to get past. Or at least another Whiskey isn't going to help.
GPU: AMD Radeon™ R9 290X 4GB Lightening Edition
CPU: i7 4790 Quad Core
MOBO: ASUS VII Ranger
PSU: Aerocool Integrator Gold 1000W 80+ Gold
RAM: 4 x Asus Motherboard Maximus VII Ranger, 8GB DDR3 PC3-10600 1333MHz 240-pin DIMM (Only 1 or 2 seated, as had display issues with two or more in troubleshooting)
Disk: SanDisk Ultra Flair 150MB/s USB 3.0 Flash Drive - 64GB
The PSU and Disk are items I have bought new to supplement the build, but was looking to use *Old parts as much as possible, as money is tight.
Problem/Context:
I was able to reach the BIOS using all the above components aside from an old SSD, but when trying to boot I believe the drive was corrupt. I attempted a Windows repair, and wipe, but it just stopped half way through. No biggie, I'll get a new drive.
I've now installed the new drive, however on boot (Including a USB with WIN11 on) the rig gets stuck on no display, and various MOBO errors such as
A0 - IDE initialization is started
A1 - IDE Reset
A2 - IDE Detect
AE - Legacy Boot event
Not sure how to progress the build from here as I can't get to the BIOS to choose a Boot method, just assumed on power on it would default to the USB drive. (I have tried a CMOS clear, but no change)
Many thanks,

Ok... never mind that will teach me for trying to juggle too much.
Realised my DVI cable was in the back of the MOBO port not the GPU, and with no onboard GFX = No display.
However I now get to the WIN 11 setup and apparently my specs don't meet the minimum system requirements for WIn 11 Pro?
