Hello. I installed newest bios update(using AI Suite 3) with chipset for my asus prime B550M-A because I wanted to enable SAM in my bios. But now I have fps issues as I get 100 fps less in fortnite compared to before. I googled how is it possible and what could be the reason, I found a lot people hating on AI Suite 3 that it causes performance loss and its impossible to uninstall. I uninstalled it with AI Suite 3 Uninstaller from Asus. Its fully deleted but my fps is still low. I tried resetting CMOS also didnt help. I enabled DOCP in bios and precision boost overdrive as well, also it didnt fix anything. I have no clue what were my bios settings as I wasnt in bios since I have my pc (2yesrs). Is there anything I can do to fix it? Thanks a lot for any advice and tips 🙂

Hello, @6161
Could you please provide the previous BIOS version before updating to the latest version 3607 and specify your OS and OS build version?
Does the frame drop issue occur only in specific games, while other games run smoothly?
Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the affected game or checking the CPU/GPU temperatures during gameplay?
If you clear CMOS or roll back to the previous BIOS version, does the frame drop issue resolve?

Oh, Meahwhile, the ROG forum is specifically for discussions related to the ROG or TUF gaming series products.
If you have inquiries regarding non-gaming series motherboards, we recommend posting your discussion on Zentalk>Motherboard.
Thank you.
