I saw this issue was posted earlier but was disabled due to inactivity, I'd like to restart that thread. This b550i board has already been giving me problems after several RMAs (I'm on my 3rd board), already costing me 3 sticks of ram because of it's fussiness. I recently upgraded to an RTX 5080 after my mobo had been relatively stable with a 3090, which was a miracle in the first place, however, after installing this new card, it randomly black screens and eventually restarts itself after being in a weird standby mode for 10-15 minutes, loading up the lock screen. it's been doing this practically every 15 minutes or less, which has rendered my PC unusable. I'm aware of issues with new 5080s, but I feel like this motherboard in its usual diva self is probably also throwing a tantrum like it usually does with any kind of new hardware. This was my first ROG product, and I can confidently say it might be my last after this dodgy support and ignoring users complaining about a unavoidable issue, not posting about it because it actually took me 5 minutes to find where the option to post on this forum even was. The bios is fully up to date, everything is as up to date as it possibly can be, and this still keeps happening, and i dont want to have to practically build a whole new pc because of dodgy bios. I bought an ROG motherboard because i heard they were the best, but this has been nothing but a money pit. please fix this.
