Hello @LostProphet2689

Thank you for reaching out to us.
Could you kindly provide the part number of the memory currently installed? Is it listed in the ROG STRIX B650-A GAMING WIFI motherboard's memory QVL?

If it is not, we recommend considering cross-testing memory modules from the QVL or manually adjusting the memory overclocking parameters to achieve stable overclocking performance.
Additionally, please try installing a single memory module in the DIMM_A2 slot first. Once the overclocking settings are stable, you can then install the second memory module in the B2 slot.
For detailed instructions, please refer to [Motherboard] How to query (CPU/memory) QVL List? and the purchasing and installation guide on the QVL page. You can also find relevant information in the Memory Kits - Overclocking and What You May Not Know thread.

Thank you.

Well i have upgrade my memory from 2x16 gb 5200 cl 40 corsair to 2x32 6000 gb 6000 cl40 and yes it is in qvl list i was making sure before update my memory is in list the kit is installed in A2 B2 also ive test it on single dim same issues I had with the prevs kit too with expo thing also ive made a bios update which i see is beta but ive expected a slight change but still nothing

Hi @LostProphet2689

I read before posting my problem about this but i dont have a contact frame....i was about to get one but since im dealing with this expo thing and found this might be one of the causes i gave up on it

No worries, always worth checking. I would still consider pin-pad contact or overtightening to be a contributing factor until ruled out 👍

Ok guys back with a quick update, ive done what u said above Scone i losen up a bit the cooler and it didnt work then i remove the DIMMs and i put one in A2 boot it up turn on expo1 all good then i add the second DIMM in B2 it didnt work again then i clear the cmon and i choose expo2 as i read its not such demanding like expo1 so my pc booted up actually really faster than before and it feels like its working x2 faster with this expo2 now im going to make some tests and do some gaming and see how its acting, i will come back with a straigh answer tomorrow on this time after work, thanks again very much for your attention !!

XMP/EXPO I This is the validated board profile. Every time a board is validated with a particular memory kit, the memory vendor and ASUS use this profile to validate the kit for the QVL.

XMP/EXPO II - This is the default DIMM profile from the memory vendor and contains sub-timings stored within the SPD EEPROM of the memory module.

XMP/EXPO Tweaked - This is the fastest profile and contains various tuned sub-timings and memory parameters.

oke after a long headache doing this and that the only one profile what is working is expo 2 for some reason, all others restarts the pc and forces me to press f1 to get back in bios, i did again all tests gaming for the last 5 hours all good no issues or nothing so i assume is a software related , going to wait the next bios update mby will fix thouse kind of problems
