Noise, Clicking, and Walkie-Talkie Sounds After Connecting Speakers with Scarlett 4th to New PC

Hello, after connecting the speakers along with the new Scarlett 4th to the new computer, I hear noises like static, clicking, and sounds similar to a walkie-talkie. There are no such issues with the laptop, even after scanning with LatencyMon, which I attached.

I have the latest drivers for all hardware, and even updated the BIOS. The only thing I haven’t done is check if the problem goes away after disabling the network card.

Another strange thing is that I would rule out interference because the issue mostly disappears when I connect the old interface, and there are no noises when I use headphones with the new one.

Please help.

Hello @Gontar

It is possible that electrical interference or current issues may be affecting the audio source quality.
Based on your description, this issue does not occur when using headphones. Given this, we recommend that you cross-test the PSU with one of a different specification or use a dedicated, clean power source (avoiding shared outlets with other devices).
Or you may consider exploring the use of external audio solutions such as a dedicated sound card, an audio-grade power filter, or an amplifier to mitigate the interference.

Thank you.

Hello @Gontar
Thank you for reaching out to us.
It appears that the Scarlett 4th is a USB-C audio interface/amplifier.
Could you please let us know which port on the TUF GAMING B650-E WIFI the device is connected to when the issue occurs? Is it connected through the case, or are you using an extension cable or adapter?
Based on your description, does the issue with the unusual sound no longer occur when the headphones are connected directly to the motherboard instead of the Scarlett 4th?

We recommend that you refer to the relevant sections in [Motherboard]Troubleshooting-Audio with no sound to troubleshoot the issue.
Additionally, please check the [Windows 11/10] Change Power Mode and Plan guide to ensure there are no related power settings or restrictions in place.

Thank you.

please read what I wrote, I did everything a long time ago and of course I connected it to every port on the motherboard and in the case

when I connect headphones to the interface, the headphones do not have the same problem as the speakers, they work normally, the speakers do not

What's the exact model number of your Scarlett 4th Gen device? What speakers (make and model) have you connected with Scarlett?

Scarlett is bus powered but if it is not getting appropriate current, it could run into issues. Do you have any USB voltage and current tester to add between Scarlett and your PC to see how much voltage and current is drawn to run Scarlett?
